Community Outreach
At the local level, FBC takes the church outside the building in many ways. Vacation Bible School, our Eggstravaganza and Gingerbread Bash all offer opportunities for kids to be kids while we share the love of Christ with the people we work and play with outside of church. Our largest Community Outreach event, freeBay, offers FREE clothing, housewares, toys, baby items, etc. to the public the second Saturday of May and November. We are looking forward to the future and what God has in store for our community!
World Outreach
Fleetwood Bible Church supports many ministries around the globe. Our missionaries, both domestic and foreign share a passion for the gospel and people! As a part of the Missionary Church, we support World Partners in the US and abroad and a number of other organizations. Our active missionaries are listed below. Please partner with them in prayer in support of their efforts. In addition to the individuals and couples we support, as a congregation, we have a relationship with the people of Honduras and created a Feeding Project for children and families. Information on this endeavor is described below. We are regularly sending teams on short and longer term missions trips to fulfill Jesus's call to "GO!" Friends of Jesus Feeding Project
For the last decade, Fleetwood Bible Church has missioned in Togopala, Honduras, building structures and relationships with the people of this small mountain village. In an effort to share the gospel with the people that we have grown to love, Fleetwood Bible Church has partnered with Pastor Edduin Villela and his wife Karen, have started the Friends of Jesus Feeding Program. Aimed at providing nourishment for the body, this ministry team also provides nourishment for the soul as they use the opportunity to provide care and food as an opportunity to share the love of Jesus through bible stories and lessons for the children. We currently support 40 children and their families with weekly meals, basic health monitoring and additional supplies.
