“They devoted themselves to the
apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the
breaking of bread and to prayer.”
Acts 2:42

Our mission at Fleetwood Bible Church is “to increase love for God and neighbor by making disciples of Christ.” Practically speaking, how do our folks connect to that mission?

We have identified a discipleship path that helps keeps us connected and growing in our faith. This path contains three key elements, all of which are centered around the gospel of Jesus Christ, with Christian service holding them all together:

We define a disciple as a Spirit-transformed follower of Christ who is conforming to his image and making other disciples.

  • “. . . until Christ is formed in you.” (Galatians 4:19b)
  • “. . . becoming like [Jesus] in his death.” (Philippians 3:10b)
  • “Whoever claims to live in [Christ] must walk as Jesus did.” (1 John 2:6)
  • “Go and make disciples of all nations . . . .” (Matthew 28:18)

Fleetwood Bible Church challenges members and attendees to participate regularly and meaningfully in each aspect of the discipleship path for the sake of spiritual formation and fulfilling our mission.
