Sunday School Classes at 9:15 a.m.

Every Sunday morning at 9:15 a.m., children of all ages gather in the fbc Fellowship Hall for a time Bible Study, learning activities, and age-appropriate discipleship. Our caring, nurturing staff members guide your child in learning how to love God and love others. This task is vitally important to as, as Jesus once referred to “little ones who believe in me” (Matthew 18:6). Children have the capacity to believe! We regard their lives and their faith as a sacred trust to us.

Parents check their children in at the kids’ check-in station in the lobby or at the self check-in tablet in the FH where the children get a name sticker to record their attendance, and parents get a coded sticker that matches the child’s. Instruction begins at 9:15 with fun and games and some free time as everyone arrives. After a group introduction to the lesson, children are divided by age for more direct instruction and then children return to the Fellowship Hall to await the start of fbcKIDS Worship or pick up by their parents. Children are not dismissed without a parent or adult representative. Dismissal is 10:15 for those who are leaving after Sunday School.

We are currently participating in The Gospel Project as a church. The Gospel Project for Kids aligns with this curriculum each week to foster cross generational family discipleship and congruence. Take a look at the Gospel Project here at their website.
